The description of the role:
The main task is driving data management related regulatory requirements into clear targets.

As a Senior Specialist you get to:
• Join our already existing Design Authority practice.
• Define design principles and standards on how different data management related regulatory requirements should be met as well as oversee and sign-off that implementations are aligning and adhering with these principles and standards.
• Drive and facilitate the interpretation of data management related regulatory requirements (such as BCBS239) into clear target pictures and development requirements for capability development and implementation, to ensure common understanding of practical implications of regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise support to business and IT stakeholders on how to shape, formulate and capture data management related development objectives based on the regulatory requirements.
• Provide governance and control for formulation, management, and regular review of group-wide portfolio of development activities addressing regulatory requirements such as BCBS239.
• Act as an ambassador for data regulatory matters.
 
 
To succeed as Senior Specialist:
We hope to find new team members who are experienced with interpreting and translating mandatory requirements into practical implementation plans and actions in the financial sector or particularly regarding BCBS239 “Principles for effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting”. Our ideal candidates are also familiar with risk or regulatory reporting, data warehousing, data management and/or data architecture in the financial sector. Experience from BCBS239, GDPR, or other regulatory implementations is seen as an advantage.


These skills are also needed:
•    Ability to identify and describe the practical implications of regulatory requirements in simple terms.
•    Critical thinking combined with consultative problem-solving.
•    Solution-oriented approach combined with ability to understand and adopt new things.
•    Ability to negotiate and solve conflicts, to give and learn from feedback.
•    Effective communicator and ability to co-operate across several organizational functions.
•    Fluent communication skills in English and Finnish.

As a Lead Specialist, you will need strong people leadership skills and the ability to drive change across functions.
