The requirements for the role:
- Proficiency in using platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Understanding various cloud storage options and their use cases.
- Familiarity with setting up and securing networks in cloud environments.
- Skilled in using Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Ability to handle the lifecycle of containerized applications from development to deployment.
- Practical knowledge of setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, such as those using Github Actions.
- Proficiency in using tools like Terraform to manage infrastructure through code.
- Skilled in working with various types of databases.
- Ability to manage and optimize database performance.
- Experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics, including knowledge of Spark and Delta Lake.
- Proficiency in using Snowflake for data warehousing, with an understanding of its architecture and SQL.
- Proficiency in Python programming for various applications.
