Our client has an on-premise Kubernetes orchestration platform with nearly 100 kubernetes clusters used by application teams. The project is to ramp down the platform in 2028, and the project manager needs to handle contacting all the teams and their stakeholders to ensure they have realistic roadmaps to move their applications to either cloud (GCP) or the upcoming on-premise Kubernetes replacement, Openshift based platform. The project manager will need to keep updated situational picture on how all the teams are progressing and how realistic their plans are with regards to the 2028 DL.

Project Managers responsibilities:

• Identify, Communicate, Plan, Phase, Schedule, and Coordinate the migration needs to tenant cluster owners and their stakeholders
• Produce and maintain project documentation, plans, work breakdown, milestones, Gantt schedule, decisions, and status reporting regularly


Needed skills:

• Strong project management and facilitation skills in a corporate environment
• Basic understanding of software development, application migrations to evaluate stated timetables
• Strong documentation, communication, and concise progress-reporting skills
• Proactive, structured, and hands-on working style

Project is full-time. English and Finnish is needed. Majority of work needs presence in Helsinki office (3-4 days a week)
