The description of the project:

An Infrastructure Architect designs and manages an organization's IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, networks, and data storage. They create blueprints for how these components will work together to support business goals, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with the overall IT strategy. This role involves tactical planning, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

You work together with tribes and teams who are responsible for data center services and connectivity services. Your area would cover data center services (e.g. servers, data center networks, databases, middleware) and connectivity services (e.g. branch networking, remote access services).


The requirements of the role:
- Multiyear experience on technical architect roles.
- Good understanding on data center and connectivity services.
- Deep understanding of networking, servers, storage, operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows) and cloud computing (e.g., mainly Azure).
- Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and you are fluent in English and Finnish.
- You have the talent to simplify complex cases and visualize them in understandable and clear presentations.
- You have good interpersonal skills and drive to build solutions and remove blockers.
- Clear and concise communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


The main tasks:
- Creating scalable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure solutions, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
- Developing long-term infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives and ensuring interoperability across systems.
- Guiding and mentoring teams, providing technical expertise on infrastructure design and implementation.
- Working with various teams, including development, security, and operations, to ensure infrastructure solutions meet business needs
