The requirements for the role:
- Full stack (Java, Node.js), modern React
- Public Cloud environments (Azure / AWS)
- Some DevOps experience e.g. to support the Lead Dev on this topic
- Apigee, Kafka

We don't have a bottleneck in hard skill e.g. for Java development or Jenkins pipeline development. The bottleneck is with the rest of the ecosystem: delivery (Rancher & later Azure), change management, productization (Apigee), integration (Kafka), NFR optimization (e.g. DB). The selected candidate will need to drive through these to get to the target deliveries. Not to mention the higher standard expectation and solution complexity due to the nature of the services.
